Project Scope: Visual Identity | Jun'23
Details: Client Project
Brief: Established in Delhi in 2008, the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) is a civil society organisation primarily focused on addressing the lack of opportunities for underprivileged yet talented students. CSRL identifies these students and brings them to the attention of corporations who facilitate their education. Despite partnerships with major organisations like GAIL, ICICI, and Tata, CSRL struggled with issues of recognition and recall. They approached us for a brand refresh that would provide a contemporary appearance without altering their core identity.
Concept:
The identity retains a majority of the initial elements. The logo has been subtly altered to enhance its appearance in monochrome and to improve alignment. The colour scheme has been expanded with additional secondary colours. Three fresh colours have been incorporated for communicating with different stakeholders: light blue for internal correspondence and partner entities, green for alumni interaction, and orange for engagement with prospective students.
Light blue, often associated with trust, loyalty, and stability is a calming colour that can help to foster open and clear communication. Green represents the growth and development of alumni after they have left the institution, and their ongoing connection with it. Orange being energetic, warm, and inviting, is intended to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for new students.
